Having been planted in September, now on the 21st of February it would seem that the ideal time for harvesting these homegrown hops is rapidly approaching! The hops still aren’t quite dry enough yet, though at the end of next week I’ll be throwing them in a fresh-hop XPA ready for the housewarming.
Any tips on addressing downy midlew are appreciated. Today I cut the Cascade right back and doused it with anti-fungal. Hopefully it rises from the ashes mildew-free next year!
Keep an eye out for the upcoming post on a fresh-hopped XPA. Yum!
